MOVIE WEEK: Alvin and the Chipmunks Chipwrecked billboards...
Are you ready for the third installment in the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie franchise?
Well they're making a big splash around Los Angeles this month with these fantastic life ring buoy billboards.
In this latest family comedy which mixes live-action and CGI, Alvin and his pals Simon and Theodore (plus the Chipettes) get marooned on a tropical island after accidentally going overboard on a cruise ship.
As a special bonus today, here's 'The Squeakquel' billboard for the second Alvin and the Chipmunks movie, which was snapped along L.A.'s Sunset Boulevard on December 8, 2009.
The colourful special extension 'Chipwrecked' billboard really stands out and was photographed along Pico Boulevard at South Alfred Street, whilst the standard version was snapped along Wilshire Boulevard on December 2, 2011.
