Eagleheart season two TV billboard...

Eagleheart season 2 billboard
You never know quite what to expect from Adult Swim, so this season two billboard for Eagleheart seems a tad tame compared to all their usual tomfoolery.
Eagleheart season 2 billboard
Chris Elliott returns as 'U.S. Marshall Chris Monsanto' with his crime-fighting partners, the by-the-book 'Susie' and dimwitted 'Brett', for more ultra-violent episodes that parody many popular cop shows (hence the blood-splattered logo).

NBC are obviously counting on his outspoken personality to bring the controversy (and the viewers) as the billboards for the new season really focus of his arrival.

On the billboard featuring the judges surnames, 'Stern' gets an extra fiery treatment, which in the sunshine looks like it's been treated with some special luminescent paint to add to the shimmering effect and really stands out from a distance.

The Ricky Gervais Show season three TV billboard...

Ricky Gervais Show season 3 billboard
Always ready to court controversy, it's only natural that Ricky Gervais would cast himself as God in this homage to Michelangelo's classic work of art from the ceiling of the Vatican City's Sistine Chapel.

This fun, tongue-in-cheek billboard for the third season of his animated HBO series, The Ricky Gervais Show, was snapped along Sunset Boulevard at North Orange Grove Avenue on April 2, 2012.

Animated masterpiece, indeed.

And if you're a fan of the British comedian, be sure to check out these equally witty TV billboards for Life's Too Short.

Daily Billboard is sure Tina Fey's impersonation of Sarah Palin on SNL paved the way in some small way for HBO's new comedy starring Julia Louis-Dreyus as the Veep.
Veep HBO billboard
Let's face it, we all want to know just what exactly a Vice President does.

Daily Billboard isn't sure we'll find out in this new series, but it looks like we'll be entertained with lots of comic political incorrectness.

Get LAd LA Complex billboard
Apparently it's time to Get L.A.'d, an enticing invitation if ever Daily Billboard has heard one.

The Canadian drama, The L.A. Complex, follows the exploits of an aspiring actress who, as the title suggests, moves to Los Angeles and into an apartment complex with similar twenty-somethings all seeking fame and fortune in Hollywoodland.

TV WEEK: Don't Trust the B in Apt 23 series premiere billboard...

Apt 23 billboard
Now here's a TV show title you wouldn't have seen on mainstream television a few years ago.
B in Apt 23 billboard
Let's face it, everyone knows what the 'B' in 'Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23' stands for. It's a bit like short-lived William Shatner comedy series $#*! My Dad Says.
B in Apt 23 billboard
Hopefully this new sitcom starring Krysten Ritter as 'Chloe', the obnoxious New York party girl roommate of Dreama Walker's naive small town 'June', has more substance that just a fun title and isn't simply a one-note joke.

Plus in another recent TV trend, like Matt LeBlanc in Showtime's Episodes, former Dawson's Creek star James Van Der Beek will appear as a fictional version of himself.

The standard landscape format for the new show was snapped along Melrose Avenue at Highland Avenue on March 28, whilst the smaller billboard was photographed along Santa Monica Boulevard at Beverly Glen Boulevard on April 1, 2012.

TV WEEK: Girls series premiere billboard...

Girls HBO billboard
Starring, written and with the pilot even directed by Lena Dunham, HBO's Girls follows the comic exploits of a group of girls in their early twenties living their dreams, one mistake at a time.

What Daily Billboard likes about this visual is these girls look refreshingly much more normal, laid back and quirky than your usual twenty-something blonde 'Gossip Girl' over-styled types, that traditionally star in these shows.

This super-sized billboard was snapped along Sunset Boulevard on April 5, whilst the landscape version was photographed along Beverly Boulevard at La Jolla Avenue on March 27, 2012.
