War is coming. How ominous does that sound?
This intriguing ad campaign is the perfect tease for the second season of the fantasy hit based on George R. R. Martin's best-selling novels, Game of Thrones.
There's no need to show any characters from the show (in fact the star of the first season Game of Thrones billboard, Sean Bean, didn't survive to see season two), as the recognizable typeface is enough to evoke the feel of the epic series.
The giant-sized season two teaser billboard was snapped along Sunset Boulevard on February 22, 2012, whilst the standard landscape ad was photographed further east along The Strip.
Daily Billboard is a fan of the HBO show and these billboards certainly make April 1 seem like an eternity away.
