Even though Duck Dynasty sounds like a fantastic name for an animated movie about the lives of wealthy waterfowl or a heartening ugly duckling to beautiful swan tale, this billboard is actually for A&E's latest reality television show.
The show chronicles the lives of the Robertsons, a multimillionaire Louisiana bayou family and owners of Duck Commander, who have made their fortune from building top-of-the-line duck calls and decoys from salvaged swamp wood.
This new series ad featuring the Southern family standing in a duck pond in all their finery, has nods to the rags-to-riches feel of The Beverly Hillbillies sitcom, and was snapped along Sunset Boulevard in A&E Network's usual billboard location on March 12, 2012.
