DUO DAY: Sherlock Holmes A Game of Shadows movie billboards...
Who has some of the best billboards around L.A. this festive season? Why, that's elementary, dear visitors, as Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law return to the skies as the Baker Street's infamous detectives, 'Sherlock Holmes' and 'Dr. Watson' in A Game of Shadows.
Vibrant colours make these billboards look sharp, you could almost say dapper, and national landmarks of Big Ben and the Eiffel Tower in the background hint at the duo's travels further afield in this sequel to the 2009 outing.
The cool billboard with Dr. Watson brandishing his weapon was snapped along L.A.'s 3rd Street at La Jolla Avenue on November 22.
The other versions with Sherlock Holmes with pistol in hand, striking a similar pose, were photographed along Beverly Boulevard and Melrose at La Brea Avenue on November 23, 2011.

It looks like this billboard was slightly storm damaged from all the high winds in L.A. in recent days.
