Giant Titanic 3D movie re-release billboard...
Clearly Hollywood still believes there's mileage left in the 3D format and now that they realise there's cash to be had in re-releasing blockbusters in their movie vaults, like Disney's The Lion King and 20th Century Fox's Star Wars: Episode I, it's time for Titanic to resurface and take another bite of the cherry.
Not that James Cameron's 1997 disaster epic should worry about making more money given that it's one of the highest grossing movies of all time already, second only to his recent sci-fi extravaganza, Avatar.
It's strange to see such a young Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet fill the skies of L.A. again. Maybe they should have considered asking them to reshoot this pose as they look now for a truly PR worthy billboard.
These stars have grown accustomed to seeing themselves super-sized on the sides of buildings, check out this giant J. Edgar movie billboard and Mildred Pierce TV billboard.
